It Is Today

“...in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus” (Romans 3:25,26). It is no longer the day of Passover, but Today. Have faith in Jesus.

“Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead” (Acts 17:30,31). It is no longer the overlooked day, but Today. Repent and have faith in Jesus.

“Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, ‘Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tried me by testing Me’...encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called ‘Today,’ so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin...” (Hebrews 3:7,13). It is no longer the day of testing God’s patience, but Today. Encourage one another to continually repent from heart-hardening sin and to be always putting your faith in Jesus.

It is Today...
...the Day of Jesus, God's Righteousness (Romans 5:19,21; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9; 2 Peter 1:1).
...the Day of Jesus, God's Judge (John 5:22,27; Acts 10:42; Romans 2:16; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 2 Timothy 4:1).
...the Day of Jesus, God's faithful Son (Hebrews 3:6; Revelation 1:5).
