Continue In It

Paul’s preaching, entrusted to the elders of the Ephesian Church, who also taught it – entrusted to us, that we, too, may teach it.

• He testified “solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24; c.f. 14:3).
• He “went about [among them] preaching the kingdom” (20:25).
• He “did not shrink from declaring to [them] the whole purpose of God” (20:27).
• He commended them “to God and to the word of His grace.” This word was “able to build...up and to give [to them] the inheritance among all those who are sanctified” (20:32).

In both teaching and being taught in His Church, “continue in the grace of God” (13:43) found in the preaching of God’s Word in the power of the Holy Spirit. Monday morning does not mean Sunday’s teaching is to be left behind & forgotten. Continue in it.
